This policy explains, in plain English, how VedaDetox handles information when you visit the site, book a consult, fill out forms, send tongue photos, or message us by email or WhatsApp.
Who we are

What we collect
- Contact details — name, email, phone, region (US/Mexico), and notes you choose to share when booking or messaging.
- Intake & consult information — health history, goals, kitchen context, and lifestyle details you provide for care planning.
- Tongue photos — images you upload or send as part of intake or follow-up. These attach to your chart; they are not a public gallery.
- Messages — email and WhatsApp threads you start with us (including payment confirmations).
- Technical basics — if analytics are added later (e.g. privacy-respecting page stats), we will note the tool here. Today this static prototype does not run third-party ad trackers.
How we use it
We use your information to schedule and confirm sessions, prepare for consults (including tongue review), send plans and follow-ups, process direct-pay confirmations, and answer questions. We do not sell your data.
Sharing
We share only what is needed to run the practice: calendar/booking tools, payment processors you choose (PayPal, Venmo, bank), and secure storage for intake materials. We do not post client stories or photos without explicit written permission — and this site carries no fake testimonials.
Tongue photos & sensitive details
Photos and health notes are treated as confidential clinical material. Keep copies of what you send; ask us anytime what we hold. Educational tongue tools on the site do not store a diagnosis.
Retention
We keep records as long as needed for ongoing care, legal, and accounting needs, then delete or archive securely. You can request a summary or deletion of marketing contacts; clinical record requests are handled case by case.
Your choices
Email or WhatsApp us to update details, limit messaging, or ask what we store. Do not send emergency medical information through the website forms — call local emergency services.
Children
Services are aimed at adults. If a parent books for a minor, we collect only what is needed for that consult and expect a guardian to manage communications.
Changes
When this policy changes, we update the date above. Material changes will be noted on the site or by email when practical.
