Dr. Laura Villalobos

Mexico roots. Classical training. A practice that still smells like the kitchen she grew up in.

VedaDetox is for the woman feeding a household: tongue reading, digestive fire, elimination, and food plans that keep tortillas on the table. No costume. No beige detox PDF.

Laura is the clinician. Maha Prishna teaches beside her.

Who she sits with

Built with Mexican American women and the families they cook for. The table has room for whoever you bring.

She works in English first. Chile and corn stay. She will not trade your kitchen for a bland “Ayurvedic” stereotype.

U.S. rates are on Services. Mexico rates: ask when you book.

How she works

  • She reads the person in context — family table, work stress, travel — not a dosha cartoon.
  • She teaches enough literacy (tongue, Agni, daily rhythm) that you leave smarter, not dependent.
  • Ayurveda consults are direct pay and confirmed when payment clears. Insurance for coaching is not offered yet.
  • Care path: intake → tongue photos → plan → follow-up that remembers.

Household warmth

The practice smells like a real cocina — chile on the comal, cilantro for caldo, limón over beans — with Ayurvedic ahara living in the pot.

Not tourist Mexico. Not clinic beige. The kitchen she grew up in, meeting classical care.
